CartScout is an iPhone app for people shopping, comparing, and listing used golf carts. It puts buyer confidence first by making battery details, proof photos, seller context, saved searches, and comparison notes easier to see before an in-person visit.

Why It Exists

Used golf cart posts often miss important details: battery type, battery age, charger status, street-legal equipment, serial proof, seller type, and inspection readiness. CartScout gives those details a dedicated place so shoppers can move with less guesswork and sellers can answer better questions up front.

Launch Scope

The current app combines local buyer tools with live marketplace sync. Users can create listings and wanted posts, attach selected photos, review CartScore-style trust context, save favorites, compare carts, and use proof details before starting a lead.

Cloud And Accounts

Private backup and sync can use Apple's iCloud/CloudKit services for the user's Apple ID where available. Live marketplace features use secure hosted endpoints for Sign in with Apple profile sync, shared listings, selected listing photos, favorites, saved searches, lead threads, reports, and alert workflows.

Accessibility

CartScout supports larger text, native iPhone assistive technologies, and saved color-vision display choices including Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, and Monochrome modes.
