Terms of Use

These Terms describe the use of CartScout, an app for organizing used golf cart listings, wanted posts, and buyer checks. By using CartScout, users agree to these Terms. If a user does not agree, they should not use the app.
Important: CartScout is an organization and listing-check tool. It is not legal, tax, insurance, safety, licensing, title, inspection, vehicle registration, or payment-processing advice.
Use of the App
Users are responsible for the listing information, wanted-post information, contact details, photos, notes, prices, and messages they create or share. Users should only capture and share information they have the right to collect and disclose.
No Transaction Guarantee
CartScout does not guarantee that a cart exists, a seller is truthful, a buyer is qualified, a cart is safe, a cart is street legal, a price is fair, a serial number is valid, a title or registration is correct, or a transaction will complete successfully. Users are responsible for inspecting carts, verifying ownership, confirming local legal requirements, and using safe transaction practices.
Payments and Listings
CartScout does not process payments, collect deposits, escrow funds, verify payment links, transfer titles, provide financing, or complete sales. Any transaction outside the app is controlled by the buyer, seller, payment provider, marketplace, bank, government agency, or other third party involved.
Local Records and Backups
The current app includes local records and optional marketplace features. Private backup and sync may use Apple's iCloud/CloudKit services when available on the user's Apple ID and devices. Live marketplace features may use CartScout hosted services for profile sync, shared listings, selected listing photos, favorites, saved searches, lead threads, reports, moderation, alerts, and support.
Purchases
Paid products and subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store systems when offered in the iOS app. Apple controls billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and Family Sharing behavior.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use CartScout to mislead, harass, impersonate, or defraud others.
- Do not create or share illegal, private, confidential, or infringing material.
- Do not post fake inventory, false prices, false ownership claims, or unsafe transaction instructions.
- Do not bypass purchases, abuse support, or interfere with app functionality.
Disclaimers
CartScout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. Florida Logic Studio LLC does not make warranties that CartScout will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every purchase or sale.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Florida Logic Studio LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, failed transactions, unsafe meetups, misrepresented carts, payment disputes, legal claims, regulatory issues, or business interruption related to use of CartScout.
Third-Party Services
CartScout may rely on Apple services for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, iCloud/CloudKit, device features, photo selection, sharing, and system accessibility features. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and account settings.
